Here are a few ways to Glamify. These things sound so weird, but believe me, they work when you use them right. Remember: People are different, so some of these techniques may not work as great for you as another person, but all in all, these work magnificent!

:bulletred: When using an eyeliner pencil, hold it above your straightener or a small flame before applying. It makes it go on easier and without such a mess.

:bulletblue: When out of the shower or bath, put a little scented body spray in your hair. When you wash your hair the natural oils are washed out and body spray replenishes the oils and also smells good. (Tip: Do Not do this if you have naturally oily hair unless you shampoo your hair more than once in a single washing)

:bulletred: Before you dye your hair, make sure you fully wash your hair of everything. Shampoo two or more times to make sure all oils and debris is out of your hair before you dye. The dye can be messed up and discoloured by the oils in your hair.

:bulletblue: One simple way to look glammed to the max, but be able to do your makeup in less than five minutes-over your eyeshadow, put a light coating of glitter.

:bulletred: Straighteners work best on High. The low setting won't do anything for you.

:bulletblue: After you paint your nails, put a heavy coating of clear nail polish on them to keep the color layer from chipping or coming off as easy.

:bulletred: When you paint your nails, glam them by putting on a coat of clear polish and add small stars, sparkles, glitter, or other decorative, then seal with two coats of clear polish.

:bulletpurple: If you are using a foundation that doesn't match your skin tone, such as powder white or a fake tanner, apply the foundation to your neck and tops of the shoulders. You can also put some shimmer in it to give you a sunny glow or a ghostly appearance.

:bulletblue: When using gel to hold up long hair in a mohawk, use more than one gel and keep it in place till you are sure it has set. After you are sure it is set, put on a heavy coating of hairspray.

:bulletred: When you plan to straighten your hair after getting directly from the bath or shower, towel dry what you can, then blow dry the rest, then straighten.

:bulletpurple: Don't overdo just one look. Do your makeup different daily. If that only means changing your eyeshadow and liner routines, good for you. Just make yourself intresting.

:bulletred: Watch fashion shows like What Not to Wear and 10 Years Younger, there you get free tips on what is good for your body type, height, weight, and style.

:bulletblue: Get a style. Don't just blend into the crowd. Spend time on yourself and make yourself a trend. Remember, someone had to come up with current fashions, why not start a new fashion yourself?

:bulletred: Moisturizer BEFORE foundation. Foundation should be used only when it improves the look of the skin. If you have dry flaky face skin you probably shouldn't wear to much foundation. It tends to enhance the flakiness and than you just seem icky and scaly.

:bulletblue: If your foundation is hard to blend, and you have no money to buy new foundation, mix a little moisturizer with it. It works wonders.

:bulletred: Tinted foundations can help even out skin discoloration. For red blotchiness and blemishes, choose green-tinted products. For dark under-eye circles, peach-based concealers neutralize bluish tones while yellow-based ones erase darker circles. For sallow, dull skin, lavender will balance yellowness.

:bulletpurple: Dab shimmer powder or cream at the inner corner of each eye. Makes them appear larger and the color stands out.

:bulletred: To keep eyeliner and/or eye shadow in place, use translucent powder on top of the eyeliner and/or eye shadow once you have finished applying all of it. It works wonders for keeping eye make-up in place. Just keep in mind this does not prevent eye make-up smear-age from sweating.

:bulletblue: Plucking your eyebrows is one of the quickest, cheapest ways to make yourself look better. Don't over-pluck! Keep stepping back from the mirror and checking it out every few minutes.

:bulletred: Apply teething gel to your eyebrows before plucking to numb the pain.

:bulletblue: Vitamin E gel tablets make great lip gloss if you poke a hole in them and squeeze the contents onto your finger and than apply.

:bulletred: For really smooth lips, put vaseline on, leave it to soak for 10 minutes, then scrub your lips with an old flannel/toothbrush.

:bulletblue: To keep lipstick from bleeding, especially with bright, loud colors such as red, blend concealer around your lip line/mouth, then apply lip moisturizer and lip liner. Then, apply the lipstick.

:bulletpurple: Wash hair with warm water, then give a final rinse in cool/cold water to close up hair follicles and make your hair look shiny.

:bulletred: ALWAYS wash your face and remove your makeup before going to sleep!! Use warm water to wash your face, then, after all the cleanser is off, splash your face with cold water to shrink your pores down and prevent getting more dirt and oil into them.

:bulletblue: 8 glasses of water a day. 8 glasses of water a day. 8 glasses of water a day! Also try to get enough sleep, eat properly, and take a good multivitamin, no matter HOW well you eat. If your body isn't getting the nutrients it needs, you'll feel lousy and look lousy.

:bulletred: Wear sunscreen. No matter how much you love your tan, sunscreen helps to protect your skin from extremely damaging UV rays, which cause wrinkles, pre-mature aging, and even skin cancer. Use it, even if it's a low SPF.

:bulletblue: Green tea has tons of antioxidants and if great for you in general, but also may help keep skin clear. Plus, tea bags make great eye presses to reduce dark circles and swelling (let them cool down first! Alternately, try sticking them in the freezer before using them.)

:bulletred: Oily skin needs moisturizer too! Especially because most washes/etc for oily skin tend to be very drying. Use a moisturizer formulated specifically for oily skin to avoid clogging pores.

:bulletblue: If you're having a breakout, try NOT to cover it in makeup. It only clogs your pores more and makes the breakout last longer.

:bulletpurple: Tea tree oil is GREAT for clearing up spots quickly.

:bulletred: Don't squeeze blackheads! You'll just end up seriously irritating the area around the blackhead, possibly causing redness, swelling, flaking, more blackheads!
